Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia
Baked tilapia that has been coated in a mixture of parmesan cheese, pepper and kosher salt.
Ingredients
- 3 tilapia fillets
- 1/2 cup finely crushed garlic-flavored croutons
- Melted butter
- 2 tablespoons, parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper, freshly ground
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- Olive oil
Directions
- Combine cayenne, salt, croutons, cheese and pepper and set this aside.
- Coat tilapia fillets with melted butter. Lightly coat both sides in cheese mixture and let this rest for two to three minutes.
- Dip tilapia in the olive oil. Place them on a shallow roasting pan and bake in an oven at 400 degrees for 11-12 minutes or until the tilapia is opaque and flakes easily when tested with a fork. Serve warm.
